Another Saturday, Another MIssed Dog Show

It's a perfect November day in Central Florida.  There was just a bit of chill in the air this morning, and our predicted high temperature is about 80F under clear, sunny skies.  If you wonder why we choose to endure the oppressive heat and humidity in summer, it's the glorious 6 months of "snowbird" season make it all worthwhile.

It's a perfect day for an outdoor dog show at  "Florida Classic Park," the dedicated dog show grounds jointly owned by several kennel clubs.  Unfortunately, I can't go, again...  David has been working (from home) almost continuously for 24 hours, and there's more to come.  As aggravating as it may be, I can't just run off to the dog show and leave him to cope with problems at work and the dogs.  The class dog and class bitch I entered are both in "Bred-by Exhibitor" and can't be shown by anyone else.  $60 in entries gone, *Poof.*

Priorities are priorities, however.  As a two-income household, we constantly juggle the needs of our dogs, work, etc.,  Dog shows always end up at the bottom of the priority list.
